		<description>Wow, I can&#039;t believe I have found someone to help with this problem. Thank you!!! Amazingly, there is little to no information on this on the web. Itâ€™s like everyone is in denial, protecting the wonderful open source community. Hey if we ship crap like this, no wonder Microsoft is kicking our **s. I have been trying to chase this beast down for two weeks with no success. What a pile of crap this Commons-Logging mess is! 

I first ran into this when generating a web client to access a web service. To my shock, I found myself getting errors for a logging system I didn&#039;t even use, all from code I didn&#039;t even write! My shock turned from frustration to downright anger at the magnitude of this sloppy mess created by some arrogant goofball trying to be a software &quot;architect&quot;. All that is needed here is a simple factory or abstract factory pattern - instead we get some convoluted mess that doesn&#039;t even work.

Okay, I feel better now. Iâ€™ll see if I can get this up and running by trying your solution and let you know what happensâ€¦</description>
