What happened to BEA Liquid VM?

Java, Virtualization
I have been looking around for information on the BEA Liquid VM that was announced at BEA World in Beijing in December of 2006 but I can’t find any recent information or status. I think this was the best idea I have heard in the past year so I would love to hear if anyone has any current information about it. Any BEA folks out there that can comment or post a link?

Chris, sorry it has been hard to find new marketing material on Liquid VM — that should change very soon, as we are about to release the technology as part of a version of WebLogic Server that we have called Virtual Edition. WLS-VE will ship as “middleware appliance” ready to be deployed on VMWare ESX.
There is a section on the BEA Website where we have started to accumulate information on our virtualization-related product offerings. Take a look at:
http://www.bea.com/framework.jsp?CNT=index.jsp&FP=/content/solutions/virtualization/
Check back with it in a few weeks, and there is sure to be more content on newly released products.
If your company has interest in the technology, and would like to arrange for a deeper briefing or closer look, be sure to contact your sales representative.
Hope that helps,

Thanks for the information Steve. For anyone interested, I also found a recent technology and roadmap presentation here: http://dev2dev.bea.com/pub/e/1059
